behind the relaunch - why I paused my business to start again.

When I first launched my design business in lockdown, I had no strategy - just passion, scrappiness, and the drive to make something of my own. I tried everything, changed direction countless times, and learned as I went. It was messy and magic all at once. But somewhere along the way, that messiness turned into burnout.

By early 2025, I was at a crossroads. I could either keep pushing through a version of my business that no longer felt like me… or I could pause, take a breath, and rebuild something that truly aligned.

So that’s what I did.

I slowed down. I stripped it all back. And I started reimagining what my business could look and feel like - not just from the outside, but from the inside too. I wanted more than a rebrand. I wanted my business to support the kind of slow, intentional life I craved.

This time, I built everything from the desk up - from my offers and workflows, to the way I show up online and the kind of clients I serve. I created systems that feel sustainable. I designed visuals that feel like home. I curated services that feel easeful to deliver. And I’ve built a brand that allows me to be both creative and calm.

The Studio Journal is part of that journey. It’s where I’ll share gentle updates, creative inspiration, behind-the-scenes moments, and a few tips and tricks for design studios, aesthetic clinics, and training academies. It’s slow. Soft. And deeply intentional - just like the way I’m choosing to run my business now.

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by your own business or unsure what direction to take, I hope this space helps you feel less alone.

Here’s to rebuilding in a way that actually feels good. And inviting others to join you as you do.
